President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev voiced the Address to the Nation, which every year is awaited with great hope, finds great support from the medical community. The politically important document “Fair Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism” touched upon topical issues covering a number of areas, including the health care sector.

The message of the Head of State defined the vector of development of the country and directions for the future.

The message of the Head of State defined a clear understanding that not just changes, but a completely new, global stage of development awaits domestic healthcare.

In his speech, the President emphasized that it is very important to gradually improve the country's human resources potential. In particular, he emphasized the need to train qualified specialists in order to provide the economy with skilled professionals.

“...The problem of shortage of qualified medical personnel remains urgent. To solve it, it is required to significantly improve the quality of medical education, including by introducing differentiated grant amounts and distributing them depending on the level of the educational process...”, emphasized President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev.

The development of human resources for the National Center of Expertise is one of the important components of development. In the first half of 2024, according to the Calendar and Thematic Plan more than 800 specialists were trained by the Enterprise.

Work continued on the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Biological Safety and obtaining admission to work of laboratory specialists, about 70 specialists were trained on certification courses.

As part of the implementation of the Concept of Health Care Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2026, the National Center of expertise developed and implemented certification courses.

It is also worth noting that our specialists actively participate in training abroad, where 25 specialists of NCE were sent in 2023.

In general, many topical and priority issues were voiced in the Address of the Head of State. All this is necessary for the people, including the medical community, the state for development and prosperity. In this regard, the Address of the Head of State is now widely discussed and supported in all the territories of our state.

The Head of State reminded that where there is unity, there is life. As a key point of his message, he called on the citizens of the country to serve our country honestly, to perform honorable work, to receive a profound education and to work tirelessly
